How cool is that?
I had a great time, and I could finish my blog development!
Thank you all!
Federica, Lara, Lucio Baylen, Nick, Chris, Bobby, Jim, David, Stéphane, and Daniel.
Sorry I couldn’t see everyone, come and meet me along the way around the world!
Thanks Daniel for this really sweet song, and the moment that came along with it.
I am in London. Visiting friends, having some good time, and litteraly just finishing my blog while Visas are being made in Paris for Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
During my very enjoyable stay in London, I had two homes. One in Kennington with Lucio and Baylen, and the other with Daniel in Lower Clapton.
I was cycling between the two and literally crossed the whole of London from one end to another. I ran something like 50/60 km during the week… loved it!
Probably the hardest one to get.
Asides from rare consulate opening hours, there is still need for a Visa Support, also called Letter of Invitation. This invitation can be obtained by booking hotels (for every single nights within the requested dates), or by bribing a travel agency to issue a fake but official voucher. This last option was the only possible for me, and it cost me EUR45.
Then no less than 2 photo ID are required, and they would hold the passport for 8 days.
Thanks to the Kazakhstan consulate high flexibility regarding passport, I could have those two Visas being made at the same time. Time during I could go to London to meet my friends and finish this very blog you are reading!
Just a note on the country… http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17043424
Cool! A cheap Visa! EUR35 only!
No invitation required, only a form to fill out, no photo ID to provide, really cool!
But the best thing was that I could keep my passport and go straight to the next Embassy to have two Visas made at the same time! I just saved about 10 days on my stressful schedule in Paris. Yehey!
Probably the most expansive Visa I’ve ever bought… EUR80 for a maximum of 30 days, and they would only take a check!
Moreover there is one other condition to comply with: print out a form from the Website with a bar code and reference. They wouldn’t take any other application form.
Plus one photo ID required.
In takes 7-10 days, but I got it very quickly, and they were open on French holidays which revealed very useful during May (a month that counts no less than 4 holidays)!
